Had a fun horseback ride experience! Very friendly staff!
I highly recommend not going here unless you are an experienced trail rider and very experienced with horses. I took my family for a trail ride on spring break and their horse threw me off and I broke my arm. Two other horses on the ride were not following the trail and giving them trouble while riding. We don't have our own horses and they assured us these were well trained. The trail was very steep and narrow in parts and crossed many creeks. If I would have been aware of how treacherous it was, I would have never taken my family. I understand that accidents happen but the staff at the ranch never even contacted me after the incident. I thought that was very poor business etiquette. My husband contacted them and they sent a copy of the waiver. I will never go here again.
The place was closing down. And it looked a little bit disorganized. Unfortunately the owner was trying to sell the place. It would be a good place to rise horses.
Amazing place to stay! The rooms were very clean and well taken care of. The owner was very helpful and was willing to help us with anything we needed. The ranch was beautiful with horses everywhere you look. One of the best deals I have seen in a while. We also did the horse ride and that was a great ride as well. The tour guide was very helpful and helped out everyone who had never ridden a horse before. If you are looking for a place to stay or ride come here!
Wonderful place! So sad they are shutting down the horse camp sites. Cabins will still be rented though.
